Providing tree management programs for tree managers and skills & safety training for homeowners to tree care professionals.
With a decade of diverse experience in the green industry, I have dedicated my career to nurturing and protecting our natural environment. My journey began as a wildland firefighter, where I learned the critical importance of responding to emergencies in the great outdoors. This role not only instilled in me a deep respect for nature's power, but also cemented my commitment to safety and preparedness. Following my time in fire management, I transitioned to residential tree care, where I honed my skills in arboriculture and began to understand the intricate relationship between trees and their surroundings.
As I progressed in my career, I had the privilege of serving as a municipality arborist, a role that allowed me to blend my expertise with community service. In this capacity, I worked closely with the community to develop sustainable tree care practices that promote the longevity of our urban canopies. My passion for education and safety led me to become a fervent advocate for training, empowering individuals to take a proactive approach to tree management. I believe that by equipping tree managers with the right knowledge and tools, we can enhance the health of our landscapes while ensuring the safety of our communities.
Additionally, my experience as an Evacuation Medic and Combat Life Saver instructor in the Army has further enriched my perspective on crisis management and the value of quick, informed decision-making in high-pressure situations. This unique blend of skills and experiences has fueled my dedication to helping others not just care for their trees, but also care for one another during an emergency. My goal is to foster a deeper understanding of proper tree care techniques, ensuring that both individual homeowners and larger property owners can cultivate healthy, thriving green spaces that stand the test of time. Whether through hands-on training sessions, informative workshops, or personalized consultations, I am committed to making a positive impact in the green industry and championing the cause of environmental stewardship.
Precise canopy mapping that includes characteristics such as: Species, Measurements, Known History, Work Needed, Health and much more.
Trees provide many benefits, but sometimes the line between benefit and risk is blurred and that is where I come in. TRA's provide a systematic process to identify and evaluate risk allowing me to suggest appropriate mitigation options.
Great for large property owners and municipalities. I will assess an area or entire conopy, and write a detailed report of work needed. Work will need to be done by a licensed/insured tree care company, I just provide an unbiased assessment.
Another great program for larger property owners. Whether your land is desolate or home to many end-of-life trees, I will write a program including "the right tree in the right place."
